HANNA KENNEY

I met Matt and Mitch 9 weeks ago at the beginning of the contest. I had heard a lot about them from a friend who had started going once a week but had not actually been in to see the place. After gaining one too many pounds over Christmas break I decided it was time to do something about my weight and fitness level. The contest seemed like the perfect opportunity to push myself. I'm really competitive and was pretty motivated by the prizes so I made the commitment to go all out.  When I signed up for the contest, I signed up to do it on my own. I decided to go to one session at Evolve in order to go over the exercises and make sure I was doing them properly and got hooked. I really liked the individualized routines. I felt like I was being pushed but not over faced and appreciated the positive feedback I was getting. I started seeing results pretty quickly and that was obviously a huge motivating factor. My first week I could barely do 10 push-ups and by the end, I was feeling a whole new kind of strong. I've been going weekly and plan to continue going at least once a week if not more. I think that the biggest factor in my success was Matt's patience in answering my never-ending questions on food and exercise. I learned a lot about how to change my diet in a way that is still satisfying but much healthier. I really can't say enough about Evolve and how it has positively influenced my life. At the end of the day, I have made a huge lifestyle change and am feeling way healthier as a result. If you are on the fence about giving personal training a shot, I would encourage you to try at least one session. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
